Naturopathic Physician
Teresa Silliman, ND, received her doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine, with academic honors, from National College of Naturopathic Medicine. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and worked in the field of biomedical research. She was awarded a fellowship from the American Heart Association which led to co-authoring a research paper published in the American Journal of Physiology. She spent part of her clinical preceptorship studying with Dr. James D’Adamo (father of the author Peter D'Adamo, ND), originator of the blood type diet. She currently studies with Henny Heuden -Mast, a master homeopath from Belgium. Dr. Silliman specializes in the areas she enjoyed researching – the dynamic interaction of emotions, stress, digestion and hormones – and how they underlie most chronic disease. She employs the modalities of homeopathy, nutrition and botanical medicine to correct imbalances. She is currently pursuing board certification in homeopathy.
